Steps
- Noticing that things are hard is already a step. It is not weakness, and it does not simply pass.
- Talk to someone you trust or call a psychological support line.
- See your family doctor: they can give first-line help and refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist.
- Avoid “self-medicating” with alcohol or sedatives without a prescription.
- If you have thoughts of death or suicide, call 7333 or 112 now.
