Where the money goes
We are non-profit: distributing income among members is prohibited by our statute and by subparagraph 133.4.1 of the Tax Code of Ukraine. Donations go to team equipment, development infrastructure, stipends for participants, and carrying products through to deployment.
Donor funds are accounted for separately. We publish a report on their use annually on the Reports page.
Equipment and infrastructure
Workstations for teams, compute for training models, licences, development environments.
Participant stipends
So a veteran or student can give the project real time instead of looking for side work in parallel.
Carrying to deployment
The most expensive stage: testing in real conditions, refinement, handover to the user.

The simplest route for donors abroad is a transfer to the organisation's email address: hello@gradientcenter.org.
Support that is not money
Equipment, cloud credits, licences, premises, legal or accounting help, mentoring hours — all of it is as valuable to us as a transfer.
Beware of fraud
The only valid bank details are the ones on this page. We never ask for transfers to a private individual's card and we never write first asking for help.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a tax deduction for donating?
For individuals resident in Ukraine, donations to non-profit organisations may be counted when filing a declaration, within the limits set by the Tax Code. Your accountant will know the specifics — we do not give tax advice.
Can I specify what the money is used for?
Yes. Note it in the payment reference or write to us and we will record it as restricted funds. Such income is accounted for separately and reported on separately.
How will I know where the money went?
The annual report is published on the Reports page. Before the first full reporting year closes, any donor can request interim figures at any time.
Can I help other than with money?
Yes, and it is often more valuable. Equipment, cloud credits, licences, premises, legal or accounting help, mentoring hours.
Who controls the funds?
The Chair of the Board, within the budget approved by the Meeting. Distribution of income to members and staff is prohibited by the statute and by Tax Code 133.4.1.
