- Participant numbers by category: veterans, defenders, students, mentors, volunteers
How we measure results
Indicators are fixed at the start of a project, not fitted to the outcome. Data is collected quarterly.

How many veterans took a team role or a job in their new field.

How many solutions reached a working prototype.

How many products were tested in real conditions with the client.

How many people and communities used our solutions.

Transparency and compliance
- Non-profit status
- Distribution of income prohibited under subparagraph 133.4.1 of the Tax Code.
- Conflict of interest
- Written declarations from every member of the governing bodies, annually.
- Anti-corruption standards
- Aligned with the FCPA and EU anti-corruption norms. Gifts above UAH 500 may not be accepted.
- Financial transparency
- Separate accounting for donor funds, procurement thresholds, and the option of independent — including international — audit.
- Intellectual property
- Rights vest in the organization under section 8 of the Statute. Spin-offs go through licensing, without the organization taking equity.
- Export control
- Technology subject to state export control is developed only after the required authorisations are obtained (clause 3.3 of the Statute).
- Sanctions screening
- We screen counterparties and recipients of funds against sanctions lists.
- Data protection
- Processing under the Law of Ukraine «On Personal Data Protection» and the GDPR where applicable.
Frequently asked questions
When will the first annual report appear?
The first reporting period is 2026. The report will be published on this page once approved by the Meeting.
Can I get figures sooner?
Yes. Any donor or partner can request interim figures at hello@gradientcenter.org. We do not make a procedure out of it: you write, we send.
Who audits the finances?
A Supervisory Board, formed by the Meeting once membership exceeds ten. Until then oversight rests with the Meeting and independent — including international — financial audit at a donor's request.
What happens to assets if the organisation closes?
Assets remaining after creditors are satisfied pass to one or more non-profit organisations of the same type, or to the state budget. Distribution among members is prohibited.
