Psychologists, social workers, lawyers and mediators — working with veterans and families under supervision, under an agreement with the NGO.

Who we are looking for

Counselling veterans, service members and families: adaptation, stress, anxiety, loss. Evidence-based methods, regular supervision.

Social adaptation, information, advocacy, employment support — following state social-service standards.

Advice on benefits, combatant status, requests to authorities; representation in complex cases.

Family or workplace conflicts after coming back — mediation without pressure on either side.

Format. 2–6 hours a week, online or in person in Kyiv. You set the load.
Agreement. A volunteer or civil-law agreement with the NGO; free services are provided by the organisation, you act on its behalf. This is not paid practice and not the SYNTONIA catalogue.
Supervision. Monthly group supervision free of charge.
Community. Access to Talks, School and the closed SYNTONIA library; you can run a group or a lecture.
Boundaries. Clients of free services are never moved into paid practice — a community rule set in the Regulations.

Not a formality — it is what we promise the people we help and what community social-service centres will ask about.

A degree in the field and a method certificate (CBT, schema therapy, EMDR etc.) or social-work/legal qualification.

A supervisor contact with consent to verification; for psychologists — proof of regular supervision.

Signed code of ethics, safeguarding policy, data-processing consent; for work with children — a criminal-record certificate.

30 minutes with the coordinator: your experience, limits, who you do not work with, how much time you have.
